Notice of Entry into Possession of Mortgaged Land

In the matter of section 156 of the Property Law Act 2007, and in the matter of mortgage 7265392.2 (Canterbury Land Registry), Identifier CB344/224 ("the mortgage"):

GE Custodians ("the mortgagee" under the mortgage) hereby gives notice that it has entered into possession of the mortgaged land described below with effect from 21 August 2009.

The description of the mortgaged land is part Lot 106 DP 1028, being the property known as 42 Chelsea Street, Linwood, Christchurch.

Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978

Application to Film Marine Mammals

Pursuant to section 5(5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, the Minister of Conservation notifies that he received an application from

Dr Kim Westerskov

on 22 July 2009, to film and photograph marine mammals underwater.

The filming and photography is proposed to occur throughout New Zealand’s waters, excluding sperm whales inhabiting the Kaikoura region, for use in educational literature.

This activity has the potential to disturb marine mammals and therefore will require a permit.
