Electricity Governance (Security of Supply) Amendment Rules 2008
(b) a new Appendix B is added to Technical Code A of Schedule C3 of Part C of the Rules, setting out the mandatory testing requirements to be followed by asset owners.
- Pursuant to section 172Z(4) of the Act, the reason for my decision to amend the Rules is to ensure that asset owners meet their asset owner performance obligations by verifying:
(a) the accuracy of data they supply to the system operator in asset capability statements; and
(b) that assets are capable of being operated within the limits stated in asset capability statements.

These Rules come into force on 5 June 2008.

Copies of the Rules may be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Commission, Level 7, ASB Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.

Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996
Notice of Intention to Apply for Approval of Code of Practice
Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority gives notice that HSNO Resources Limited intends to apply for the approval of a Code of Practice for Hazardous Substances Separation – Locations Wheel and Wall Chart.
This document is currently approved as an approved practice guide by ERMA New Zealand, HSNO APG 1-1 04-05, Hazardous Substances Separation.
HSNO Resources Limited has applied for conversion of this document to a code of practice with no changes to the current content.
Written submissions in relation to the approval of this code can be made by mail to Code of Practice Submissions, Hazardous Substances Group, ERMA New Zealand, PO Box 131, Wellington 6140, or by facsimile to 04 914 0433, or by email to dginfo@ermanz.govt.nz.
Submissions close on 6 June 2008.
The approved practice guide is available from HSNO Resources Limited, PO Box 898, Cambridge 3450, or can be inspected at the Wellington Office of ERMA New Zealand Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington.

Appointment of Organisations
Pursuant to sub-clause 4.6(4) and 4.6(5) of Land Transport Rule: Frontal Impact Amendment 2008 (hereinafter "the Rule") and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport, I, David Andrew Robson, Response Team Manager, Driver and Vehicle Certification Unit, hereby appoint the organisation in Schedule 1 of this notice for the purpose of issuing motor sport authority card for the purpose of the Rule, and the organisations in Schedule 2 to process applications for specific motor vehicles to be identified as immigrants vehicles for the purposes of 2.1(7)(e) of the Rule.
