Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 59 (Registry)) Exemption Notice 2008

Pursuant to Regulation 194(2) of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission (“Commission”) gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 59 (Registry)) Exemption Notice 2008.

    (2) This notice comes into force on 20 March 2008.

  2. Exemption—The registry, as defined in Part A of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), is exempted from compliance with Rules 5.3 and 5.4 of Schedule E2 of Part E of the Rules.

  3. Terms and conditions—This exemption is granted on the following conditions:

    (a) The registry must notify the Commission of any new network supply points within one business day of their creation; and

    (b) this exemption will expire on 30 April 2008.

  4. Reason for granting the exemption—The reason for granting this exemption is:

    ● In order to comply with the migration plan and enable participants to populate the new systems in preparation for the new registry and reconciliation manager systems, the registry cannot comply with the requirements of these rules.

Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 60 (Data Administrators and Registry)) Exemption Notice 2008

Pursuant to Regulation 194(2) of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 60 (Data Administrators and Registry)) Exemption Notice 2008.

    (2) This notice comes into force on 20 March 2008.

  2. Exemption—All data administrators and the registry, as those terms are defined in Part A of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), are exempted from compliance with Rules 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4 of Schedule G7 of Part G of the Rules.

  3. Term—This exemption will expire on 30 April 2008.

  4. Reason for granting the exemption—The reason for granting this exemption is:

    ● In order to comply with the migration plan and populate the new systems in preparation for the new registry and reconciliation manager systems, data administrators and the registry cannot comply with the requirements of these rules.

Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004 —Traffic Signs – Private Road Railway Crossings

Pursuant to subclause 4.4(4) of Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004, and under authority delegated to me, I, Lyndon Hammond, Manager Networks, authorise the installation and maintenance of the signs described in the Schedule to this notice.
