Reason for granting the exemption—The reason for granting this exemption is:
● In order to comply with the migration plan and populate the new systems in preparation for the new registry and reconciliation manager systems, retailers will not be able to comply with the requirements of this rule.

Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 51 (Retailers and Registry)) Exemption Notice 2008
Pursuant to Regulation 194(2) of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 51 (Retailers and Registry)) Exemption Notice 2008.
(2) This notice comes into force on 20 March 2008.
- Exemption—All retailers and the registry, as those terms are defined in Part A of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), are exempted from compliance with the following rules contained in the Rules:
(a) Rule 12 of Part E;
(b) Rule 3.1 of Schedule E2 of Part E; and
(c) Schedule E3 of Part E.

Term—This exemption will expire on 14 April 2008.

Pursuant to Regulation 194(2) of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission gives the following notice.

- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 52 (Registry)) Exemption Notice 2008.
(2) This notice comes into force on 20 March 2008.
- Exemption—The registry, as defined in Part A of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), is exempted from compliance with the following rules contained in the Rules:
(a) Rule 16 of Part E; and
(b) Rules 2.1 and 2.2 of Schedule E1 of Part E.

Pursuant to Regulation 194(2) of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 53 (Registry and Users)) Exemption Notice 2008.
(2) This notice comes into force on 20 March 2008.
- Exemption—The registry and all users, as those terms are defined in Part A of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), are exempted from compliance with the following rules contained in the Rules:
(a) Rule 20 of Part E; and
(b) Rule 3.4 of Schedule E1 of Part E.
- Terms and conditions—This exemption is granted on the following conditions:
(a) As per the migration plan, notifications must be generated during weekends and will allow the scheduling of registry and participant load appropriately; and
(b) this exemption will expire on 14 April 2008.
- Reason for granting the exemption—The reason for granting this exemption is:
● In order to comply with the migration plan and enable participants to populate the new systems in preparation for the new registry and reconciliation manager systems, the registry and users cannot comply with the requirements of these rules.
