Notification of Commerce Commission’s Draft TSO Cost Allocation Determination for the Period 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008

On 14 November 2008, the Commerce Commission ("the Commission"), pursuant to section 87(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), prepared a draft TSO cost allocation determination of the matters set out in section 88 of the Act, for the period between 1 July 2007 and 30 June 2008.

Pursuant to section 87(b) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of its draft determination.

A copy of the draft determination is available on the Commission’s website www.comcom.govt.nz under Industry Regulation / Telecommunications / Telecommunications Service Obligations Cost Allocation

The Commission gives public notice that the closing date for submissions on its draft determination is 5 December 2008.

Notification of the Commerce Commission’s Draft Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation Instrument for the Local Residential Telephone Service for the Period Between 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2007

On 24 November 2008, the Commerce Commission ("the Commission") released its Draft Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation Instrument for Local Residential Service ("TSO Instrument") for the period between 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2007.

The Commission, acting pursuant to section 92(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), prepared the draft determination in respect of the matters set out in section 93A of the Act for the TSO Instrument.

Pursuant to section 92(b) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of its draft determination.

Notice of Publication of Annual Report—Crown Health Financing Agency

Pursuant to section 150(4) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the Crown Health Financing Agency gives notice that it has published its annual report for the financial year ended 30 June 2008.

Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996—Pricing Notification

The Environmental Risk Management Authority has approved a new fee of $168.75 (including GST) for applications for time waivers for the submission of compliance plans for stationary container systems and tank wagons.

Notice of the proposed change is given pursuant to section 21 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996.

The new fee will take effect on 1 January 2009.
