a transmission pricing methodology to ensure that
the full economic costs of Transpower’s services
are allocated in accordance with the principles set
out in Rule 2 of Section IV of Part F of the Rules;

(b) the Electricity Commission has evaluated the
proposed transmission pricing methodology in
accordance with Section IV of Part F of the
Rules; and

(c) I consider that the transmission pricing methodology
recommended by the Electricity Commission best
aligns with the pricing principles in Section IV
of Part F of the Rules, and best achieves the
objectives and outcomes set for the Commission in
the Act and the Government Policy Statement on
Electricity Governance and is therefore the most
appropriate methodology.

  1. These rules come into force on 1 September 2007.

  2. Copies of the Rules may be inspected free of charge or
    purchased from the Electricity Commission, Level 7, ASB
    Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington. The Rules can
    also be viewed on the Electricity Commission’s website
    http://www.electricitycommission.govt.nz/Rulesandregs/Rules

Pursuant to section 4 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977,
the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the
following notice.

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be
    cited as the Pumicelands Rural Fire District Constitution and
    Administration Notice 2000 Amendment No. 1.

(2) This notice will come into force 28 days after its
publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice—The
    principal notice* is hereby amended by adding to
    the Schedule as follows:

(3) Land to be Excluded from the Rural Fire District

That area as shown on map NRFA0704, being an
area bounded by the west bank of the Waitahanui
River, the middle of the Te Arero Stream, and the
boundary between land parcels "Pt Tauhara
Middle 4A2B2C" and "Pt Tauhara South A".
