Conservation Act 1987

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Conservation Area and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator revokes the notice headed Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes and Declaration That the Area Become a Reserve dated the 10th day of October 2007 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 October 2007, No. 112, page 3009, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes and Declaration That the Area Become a Reserve

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further declares that the conservation area be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

Disposal of Stewardship Area

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager of the West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation gives notice of the disposal in fee simple of the land described in the Schedule for a consideration of $15,000.00.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired and Land Set Apart for Drainage Purposes—Riverbend Road, Napier

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Charles William Le Breton, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for drainage purposes and vested in the Napier City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette; and

(b) Pursuant to section 52(4), declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice be set apart for drainage purposes and to remain vested in the Napier City Council.

Land Declared Road—State Highway 1, Mercer–Long Swamp, Meremere, Waikato District

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
