Explanatory Note
This exemption has been granted due to the cars in question
being exceptional examples of classic, vintage and veteran
vehicles in concourse condition, which will be an asset to
the Queenstown area and New Zealand as a whole.

Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways
Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Transit New Zealand
Act 1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting
of Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand
hereby amends the following bylaw.
Amendments

These amendments shall come into force 28 days after
publication in the New Zealand Gazette. -
The Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles
on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:
(a) Changing line 446 in Schedule 3 to read:
"Transit NZ Region: 9

Transit New Zealand Act 1989
Revoking Section of State Highway 20A in
Manukau City
Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989,
the Transit New Zealand Board gives notice that the section
of State highway described in the Schedule hereto is
revoked within the meaning and for the purpose of the
Transit New Zealand Act 1989.
Schedule
That section of State Highway 20A in the City of Manukau,
commencing at a point (Route Position 0/3.874) on George
Bolt Memorial Drive at the Auckland International Airport
property boundary, 674 metres south of Montgomerie Road
intersection, and extending in a generally southerly direction
to a point (Route Position 0/4.998) 400 metres north of
the junction with Tom Pearce Drive at Auckland Airport;
a distance of 1.124 kilometres.
This resolution was passed at a meeting of Transit
New Zealand held in Wellington on the 5th day of November
2007.
