Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes and Declaration That the Area Become Part of Reserve

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator for the West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the First Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further declares the conservation area described to be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a local purpose reserve (hall site) and included in the reserve described in the Second Schedule.

Pursuant to section 26 of the Local Government Act 2002, the Administrator of the Government acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order

1. Title—This order is the Local Government (Waipa District and Hamilton City) Boundary Alteration Amendment Order 2006.

2. Commencement—This order comes into force on 1 July 2006.

3. Loans—The Local Government (Waipa District and Hamilton City) Boundary Alteration Order 2003* is amended by revoking clause 13.

Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, Declaring a Conservation Area to be a Classified Reserve, and Appointment to Control and Manage

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes, and further declares that the conservation area described in the Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a local purpose (fish hatchery) reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act, and further, under the Reserves Act 1977, appoints the New Zealand Fish and Game Council (Central South Island Region) to control and manage the reserve for local purpose (fish hatchery) purposes.

Notice of Effective Date for Transfer

Pursuant to section 103 of the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998, the Minister in Charge of Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations hereby gives notice that 16 June 2006 is the effective date for the transfer of station areas, gift areas, and leaseback conservation areas, pursuant to section 10 of the Ngai Tahu Deed of Settlement dated the 21st day of November 1997.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road—State Highway No. 18, Hobsonville, Auckland

Notice is hereby given that the Crown, under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto ("the land").

The land described in the Schedule to this notice is required for road and will, once taken, form part of State Highway No. 18.

The intended taking is considered necessary to alleviate traffic congestion in the Auckland area.
