On 7 November 2006, A.M. Best Company confirmed that Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) PLC has retained its financial strength rating of “A+” (superior), but with a negative rating outlook.

A.M. Best Company is a rating agency approved by the Registrar of Companies.
