Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (Fees) Amendment Notice 2006

Pursuant to sections 14A and 14B of the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act 1976, the following notice is given.

Notice

Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (Fees) Amendment Notice 2006 and should be read in conjunction with the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 December 2003, No. 173, page 4790.

(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2007.

Fees—Pursuant to sections 14A (1) (c) and 14B (1) of the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act 1976 (“the Act”), the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board sets the following fees, payable to the board, specified in the attached Schedule.

Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Fees Payable to the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board

A. Licence Fees

$85.00

Fees for the issue of an annual licence (section 36 and/or section 36A of the Act)¹

B. Disciplinary Levy

$25.00

Base disciplinary levy for each licence² for each 12-month period³

Key to Annotation

¹ The licence fee is increased from $75.00 to $85.00 for each licence issued for plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying, as from 1 April 2007.

² The base disciplinary levy is increased from $15.00 to $25.00 for each licence issued.

³ Relevant licence fee including disciplinary levy is to be collected concurrently.

All other notices must be lodged at the New Zealand Gazette office by 12.00 midday on Tuesday, the 19th day of December 2006.

Note: It would be appreciated if material for this edition was delivered as early as possible.
