Commodity Levies Act 1990
Commodity Levies (Eggs) Order 2004
2004, and on the recommendation of the 2006 Annual
General Meeting of the Egg Producers Federation of
New Zealand Incorporated, I hereby prescribe an annual
levy of 35 cents per chick on the basis of the sale of chicks
to producers by hatcheries during the year 1 January 2007 to
31 December 2007.
This notice will take effect on 1 January 2007.

Amendment to Fixed Participation Fee Schedule for the 2007 Quota Year—European Union (EU)
Sheepmeat and Goatmeat Tariff Rate Quota, and United States (US) Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota
The New Zealand Meat Board has reviewed its existing quota management fee structure for the 2007 Quota Year, under the
Meat Board Act 2004, for the EU Sheepmeat and Goatmeat Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ), and US Beef and Veal TRQ (both dated
9 August 2005) and has agreed that the Fixed Participation Fee Schedules be amended pursuant to section 27 of the Act.
The Fee Schedules, contained in Appendix three, Section 16 of the manuals which set out the mechanisms, will be replaced
by the following:

| Variable Participation Fee (per tonne) | 1.15 | 1.15 |
For EU Sheepmeat and Goatmeat TRQ and US Beef and Veal TRQ:
Applications for General Quota Allowance Allocations, together with fixed participation fee are due by 15 October 2006.
Variable participation fees for New Entrant and General Quota Holders will be notified by the Board following the annual
allocation of TRQ Allowances and are due by 31 December 2006.
The EU Sheepmeat and Goatmeat TRQ applies to 227,854 tonnes carcass weight equivalent and the tariff rate for "in quota"
imports is zero.
The US Beef and Veal TRQ applies to 213,402 tonnes product weight and the tariff rate for "in quota" imports is $US0.044
per kilogram on most beef products.
