Reappointments to the Standards Council
Pursuant to section 4 (1) (a) of the Standards Act 1988, the
Minister of Commerce is pleased to reappoint
Richard Gordon Alexander Westlake
as a member of the Standards Council and, pursuant to
Clause 1 (1) of Schedule 5 of the Crown Entities Act 2004,
as the chair of the Standards Council for a term of three
years commencing on 15 September 2006.

I hereby establish a primary school, to be known as Frankton
Primary School, at Frankton, Queenstown.

Hawera High School (182) Extension of Board of Trustees Student Election Timeline Notice
Pursuant to clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the
Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by
the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period for
closing the poll and all subsequent actions in accordance
with the Education (School Trustee Elections) Regulations
2000 for the election of one student representative for the
Hawera High School Board of Trustees.
Voting for the election shall now close on 18 October 2006.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.

Education (Early Childhood Centres)
Regulations 1998
Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education
(Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 16 October 2002, which
was granted under those Regulations to Susan Jans in
respect of Wharepuni Te Kohanga Reo (52718) (07C058),
situated at Fraser Road, Hawera.
This cancellation also has the effect of cancelling any
provisional licence issued to this service.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Fisheries
Fisheries Act 1996
Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Amendment Notice 2006 (No. F377)
Pursuant to section 188 of the Fisheries Act 1996,
the Manager Stock Strategies, Ministry of Fisheries
(acting pursuant to delegated authority in accordance with
section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988), gives the following
notice.
Notice
- Title—(1) This notice is the Fisheries (Conversion
Factors) Amendment Notice 2006 and is part of the principal
notice.
(2) In this notice, "principal notice" means the Fisheries
(Conversion Factors) Notice 2005 (No. F350)*.

Commencement—This notice comes into effect on
1 October 2006. -
Interpretation—Clause 3 of the principal notice is
amended by:
(a) deleting paragraph (iii) in the interpretation of dressed in
relation to all species of finfish not otherwise listed, and
substituting the following item:
"(iii) whether or not the tail has been removed, no part
of the tail cut shall be forward of the posterior base
of either the hindmost dorsal fin or the hindmost
anal fin, whichever is near the caudal fin; and";
(b) inserting after (vi) in the interpretation of skin-on
trimmed fillets relating to hoki the following paragraph:
"(vii) The pleural ribs may be removed by trimming."
