Any person may make a written submission to the Director-General, under section 17 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, concerning any application notified above.

Such submissions:

(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission;

(b) may state any decision sought on that application;

(c) must be received by the Director-General no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette; and

(d) should be forwarded to the address given below.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (iii) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 11 August 2003, which was granted under those Regulations to Grace Rogerson (on behalf of whanau), in respect of Te Kohanga Reo o Hokonui (90303), situated at 11 Hyde Street, Gore.

Fisheries Act 1996

Fisheries (Hicks Bay Temporary Closure) Notice 2005

Pursuant to section 186A of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title—This notice is the Fisheries (Hicks Bay Temporary Closure) Notice 2005.

  2. Commencement—This notice comes into force on 18 February 2005.

  3. Expiry—This notice expires on 17 February 2007.

  4. Hicks Bay closed for taking of shellfish for two-year period—(1) No person may, during the period 18 February 2005 to 17 February 2007 (both dates inclusive), take any shellfish from Hicks Bay.

(2) For the purpose of this notice, “shellfish” includes rock lobster and kina.

  1. Hicks Bay defined—(1) In this notice, “Hicks Bay” means that area of New Zealand fisheries waters that lies within the area defined by a line beginning at a point on the coastline east of Matakaoa Point (37°33.6ƍS 178°19.3ƍE), then due east to a point 200 metres off exposed rocks at the
