✨ Gaming Machine Regulations

27 MAY NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE 1439

Dispensations

Gaming machines which do not fully comply with all requirements specified in the National Standard and/or this Appendix may be approved where the Authority is satisfied that compensating controls adopted by either the supplier or operator mitigate any risk associated with non-compliance. The grant of any such dispensations will be at the discretion of the Authority.

NZ1.4 Changes to Appendix

The Authority may issue amendments to sections or clauses in this Appendix either on its own volition or on application from industry stakeholders. Any such amendments will be subject to consultation with interested parties including New Zealand casino gaming machine suppliers, testing agencies, casino operators and the Department of Internal Affairs. The Authority will determine the effective date of any such changes. With each amendment, the version number will be incremented.
