Local Government (Franklin District) Boundary Alteration Notice 2003
Pursuant to section 37P (2) (a) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Local Government (Franklin District) Boundary Alteration Notice 2003.
(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the day it is published in the New Zealand Gazette.

Boundaries of Franklin District—The seaward boundaries of Franklin District between the southern head of the entrance to the Manukau Harbour and the northern head of the Waikato River mouth are extended to the mean low water springs.

Awhitu Ward—The area included in Franklin District by clause 2 of this notice is included in the Awhitu Ward of the district.

Waiuku-Awhitu Community—The area included in Franklin District by clause 2 of this notice is included in the Waiuku-Awhitu Community.

Effect on existing boundaries—Nothing in this notice has the effect of excluding from Franklin District any area included in that district before this notice is in force.
