Traffic Regulations 1976

Approval of Brake Testing Device

Pursuant to Regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety, I, Laszlo Andras Hidvegi, Senior Engineer, Safer Vehicles Policy, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of testing brakes according to the requirements of Regulation 68 of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

Land Acquired, Road to be Stopped, and Land Set Apart and Vested in the Crown for Flood Control Purposes—Alexandra

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Roger Kenneth McLeod, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for flood control purposes and shall vest in the Crown as Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948, on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is acquired for flood control purposes and shall vest in the Crown.
