(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88 (2), becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 119 (1), declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be taken as severance and to remain vested in the Crown.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the reserve described in the First Schedule from a local purpose (site for a compost plant) reserve to a recreation reserve and, further, notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Auckland City Council on 19 September 2002:

“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Auckland City Council resolves that the pieces of land held by the city in fee simple and described in the Second Schedule be declared to be a recreation reserve.”
