Education Lands Act 1949

Land Declared No Longer Required for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949, and pursuant to an authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

  1. The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.
  2. This notice shall come into force on 6 March 2003.

Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land

Under the Land Act 1948, the Acting Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation sets apart the land described in the Schedule as a local purpose (water supply) reserve subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Schedule

Otago Land District—Central Otago District

3.3715 hectares, more or less, being Sections 14 and 15, Block VII, St Bathans Survey District.

Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989

Māori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Rotorua 2003, No. 1.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation only to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
