Land Transport Act 1998

Notification of Ordinary Rule

Pursuant to section 161 (3) of the Land Transport Act 1998,
notification is hereby given of the making of

Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003
(Rule 54001).

This rule will come into force on a date to be notified in the
New Zealand Gazette.

This Ordinary Rule is available for inspection free of charge
at the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority
of New Zealand, 7-27 Waterloo Quay, Wellington, and for
purchase from March 2003 at bookshops that sell legislation
or direct from Wickliffe Limited, P.O. Box 932, Dunedin.

Transit New Zealand

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Revoking Section of State Highway No. 3, New Plymouth

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989,
the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the
section of State highway described in the Schedule hereto is
revoked within the meaning and for the purpose of the
Transit New Zealand Act 1989.

Schedule

That old section of State Highway No. 3 in New Plymouth
City, commencing at the intersection of Coronation Avenue
and Junction Road and proceeding along Coronation
Avenue in a south-westerly direction to its intersection with
Tarahua Road and Upjohn Street, then along Tarahua Road
in a southerly direction to its intersection with Junction
Street, then generally east along Junction Street, then
south to Branch Road, to join State Highway No. 3 (Route
Position 240/2.00 to Route Position 240/2.97), a distance of
1.71 kilometres.
