Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule below is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Westland Land District—Westland District
2143 square metres, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4, S.O. 328568.

Declaring Conservation Area to be a Reserve, Addition to an Existing Reserve and Vesting Reserve in the Ashburton District Council

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator, Canterbury Conservancy, declares that the conservation area described in the First Schedule shall be included in the reserve described in the Second Schedule, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, classified as a recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act and, under the Reserves Act 1977, vests the reserve in the Ashburton District Council in trust for recreation purposes.

Canterbury Land District—Ashburton District

First Schedule
14.9800 hectares, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 79247. All certificate of title CB45C/149. Subject to easements created by transfer 5019734.1.

Second Schedule
Lake Camp
49.4700 hectares, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 18196. Government Purpose Reserve by New Zealand Gazette, 24 May 1990, page 1867, and Recreation Reserve by New Zealand Gazette, 9 May 1991, page 1537.

Public Works Act 1981

Easement Acquired for Drainage Purposes—Rotokauri, Waikato District

Pursuant to section 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the drainage easement in perpetuity described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said easement shall vest in the Waikato District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Description of Drainage Easement
The rights and powers implied in and attaching to a right of way as set out in the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, under the heading “Right to Drain Water” as if the same were fully set out herein.

All that piece of land, being part Lot 1, D.P. S. 78571 (part Computer Register SA61A/667); marked “A” on S.O. Plan 326491.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 52 (4), declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be set apart for road and remain vested in the New Plymouth District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
