Pursuant to section 49 of the Privacy Act 1993, and in reliance upon section 52 of the Act, I give notice as follows:

  1. The Telecommunications Information Privacy Code 2003 Amendment No. 1 (Temporary) was issued on 25 September 2003 and revoked on 9 October 2003.

  2. The Telecommunications Information Privacy Code 2003 Amendment No. 2 (Temporary):
    (a) was issued on 8 October 2003;
    (b) will come into force on 1 November 2003, except for clause 3 which came into force on 9 October 2003; and
    (c) will expire on 24 September 2004.\n

  3. Copies of both amendments may be inspected or obtained free of charge at the offices of the Privacy Commissioner, 51-53 Shortland Street, Auckland and 109-111 Featherston Street, Wellington, and Amendment No. 2 (Temporary) may be viewed or downloaded from the web site:
