Traffic Regulations 1976
The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 2, 2003
Pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Alan Dixon, Acting Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 2, 2003.

The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
Schedule
Situated within Rodney District at Taupaki:
Amreins Road: From Taupaki Road to a point 800 metres measured southerly, generally, along Amreins Road from Taupaki Road.

The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 1, 2003
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Alan Dixon, Acting Manager Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 1, 2003.

Those localities and roads on the plan numbered LT0309/1, entitled “Rodney District Roading Speed Restrictions at Riverhead”, and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, and indicated by markings in accordance with the legend on that plan, are declared to be:
(a) closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act;
as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.

The following notice is partly revoked:
That part of the Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 3, 1986* that relates to roads at Riverhead.

Securities Markets Act 1988
The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 5) 2003
Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 5) 2003.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 November 2003.

Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:
“Act” means the Securities Markets Act 1988.
“exchange” means the New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.
“the company” means Fixed Interest Securities (New Zealand) Limited.
(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act, has the same meaning given to it by the Act.

Authorisation—(1) The company is authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.
(2) The authorisation is subject to the conditions that:
(a) the company is a public broker within the meaning of the rules of the exchange; and (b) the company is bound by the rules of the exchange; and (c) the authorisation applies in respect of futures contracts made on or effected through the exchange or a futures exchange in a country other than New Zealand which is authorised by the laws of that country to operate as a futures exchange.(3) This authorisation continues in force until it is revoked by the commission.
(4) The Authorised Futures Dealer Notice 1994 (No. 7), published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 June 1994, page 2090, is hereby revoked in accordance with clause 3 (3) of that notice.
