Declaration That Land is a Reserve

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977, the Waikato District Council notifies the following resolution passed by the council on 27 February 2001:

“That under section 14 of the Act, the Waikato District Council resolves to declare that the pieces of land held in fee simple by the council and described in the Schedule, be declared to be recreation reserve.”

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice classifying a reserve for local purpose (site for community centre and carparking) dated 15 July 2002 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 25 July 2002, No. 85, page 2319 and issues the following fresh notice in its place.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose (site for community centre and carparking) reserve.
