Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation to be called Awakoko Reserve for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the owners and their whanau.

All that piece of land situated in Te Kaha Block V, and described as follows:

HER EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 71 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and at the request of Transit New Zealand, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the 28th day after the date of notification of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette, be a motorway.
Schedule
All that section of State Highway No. 1 commencing at a point (Route Position 683/7.50) 1.8 kilometres south of the intersection with Donalds Hill Road, proceeding in a generally southerly direction to a point (Route Position 683/8.97) approximately 1 kilometre north of Pigeon Flat Overbridge; being those parcels of land shown on S.O. Plan 24829, marked “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F” and “G”; and shown on S.O. Plan 23742, marked “F” and “H”.
