2280 NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE No. 83
All waters within 100m of the fish pass in the Mararoa Weir (Manapouri Lake Control Structure).
No person shall take or kill or be in possession of salmon from that portion of the Waiau River that lies between the confluence with the Monowai River and the Manapouri Lake Control structure or from the Mararoa River. No person shall take salmon from any waters during the months of April and May.

ARTIFICIAL FLY ONLY WATERS
Eglinton River and tributaries.

BAIT FISHING NOT PERMITTED
Bait fishing is not permitted in the following waters, including tributaries:
All rivers and lakes draining to the Tasman Sea.
Aparima River upstream of the Hamilton Burn confluence.
Hamilton Burn River above Mossburn-Otautau Road.
Mararoa River upstream of Key Bridge.
Mataura River upstream of the Garston Bridge.
Monowai River.
Oreti River upstream of Rocky point, 2km west of Mossburn.
Waiau River between Lakes Manapouri and Te Anau.
Wairaki River above the electricity transmission lines.
Whitestone River.
The following lakes and their tributaries (except Mararoa River β Key Bridge downstream):
Lake Fergus.
Lake Gunn.
Lake Hankinson.
Lake Hauroko.
Lake Manapouri.
Lake Monowai.
Lake Poteriteri.
Lake Te Anau.
North Mavora Lake.
South Mavora Lake.

None.

USE OF BOATS

No person shall fish from any motorised boat in Lake Thomas.
