Vesting of a Reserve in Dunedin City Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies the vesting of the reserve described in the Schedule in trust in the Dunedin City Council for the purpose of recreation.

Schedule

Otago Land District—Dunedin City District
1214 square metres, more or less, being Section 134, Block VIII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District.

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Selwyn District Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose (plantation) reserve and vests the reserve in the Selwyn District Council in trust for that purpose.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of urupa for the common use and benefit of the people of Pirirakau, such reserve to be known as Epiha Urupa Māori Reserve.
