Suggested solution Similar to S06/002 with a consequential change in the north-west corner of the proposed Wigram electorate.

The boundary to run north along Cutts Road to a point where it follows the property line, north along Ansonby Place and Karnak Crescent across open ground to Russley Road. This area should be included in the Wigram electorate.

Suggested solution Similar to S06/010, except the portion to be moved into Wigram should be bounded by Cutts Road, Woodbury Street, Russley Road and Yaldhurst Road.

Christchurch Central

Objects to the inclusion of Fraser and Wiremu Streets in the proposed Christchurch Central electorate when their community of interest lies with areas, north of Winters Road, in the Waimakariri electorate.

Suggested solution Follow Cranford Street, south-east from its intersection with Main North Road for 0.7 km and then diagonally north-east to Winters Road.

Banks Peninsula

S09 001 b, h Objection NZ National Party — Canterbury / Westland Region

Objects to the inclusion of the Woolston area in the proposed Banks Peninsula electorate on the grounds of community of interest.

Suggested solution Move this area to the Christchurch East electorate. Move the Dallington area of Christchurch East to Christchurch Central. Move the Hillmorton area of Wigram to Banks Peninsula. Move the Tai Tapu and St John of God areas of Rakaia to Banks Peninsula. Move the Sydenham area of Christchurch Central to Wigram.

Or:

Move the area of Woolston/Linwood bounded by Tilford Street and Ferry Road to Christchurch East.
