Objects to the inclusion of the communities of Loburn, Okuku, Ashley, Sefton and Balcairn in the Kaikoura electorate as these areas are largely comprised of lifestyle blocks whose community of interest lies naturally with Rangiora and Christchurch.
Suggested solution Include those areas north of the Ashley River, within the Waimakariri District, within the Waimakariri electorate.

Object to the inclusion of parts of Riccarton (Kilmarnock Street in particular) in the proposed Wigram electorate.
S06 002 b Objection I M Clark
Similar to S06/001. Objects to the inclusion of the area of Riccarton north of Riccarton Road in the proposed Wigram electorate on the grounds of community of interest and topography.
Suggested solution Riccarton Road forms a natural boundary, so this should be used as the north boundary of the Wigram electorate.
