Notice Appointing Place Where Applications for Exemptions and High Seas Fishing Permits Must be Provided 2001 (No. F175)

Pursuant to section 295 (1) (c) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This is the Notice Appointing Place Where Applications for Exemptions and High Seas Fishing Permits Must Be Provided 2001 (No. F175).

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Commercial Fisheries Services Office—

2.1. The Chief Executive appoints the following office of Commercial Fisheries Services Limited to be the place where applications for exemptions under section 113F and applications for high seas fishing permits under section 113G must be provided:

Notice Declaring Offices at Which Fishing Vessels May be Registered 2001 (No. F176)

Pursuant to section 56 of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This is the Notice Declaring Offices at Which Fishing Vessels May Be Registered 2001 (No. F176).

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Commercial Fisheries Services Registration Office—

2.1. The Chief Executive declares the following office of Commercial Fisheries Services Limited to be a registration office at which fishing vessels may be registered:

4.1. The Notice Declaring Offices at Which Fishing Vessels May be Registered and Appointing Registrars of Fisheries 1999 (No. F124) appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on 29 July 1999, No. 87 at page 2076 is hereby revoked.

The Ministry and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited Registry Services Notice 2001 (No. F177)

Pursuant to section 295 (1) (b) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This is the Ministry and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited Registry Services Notice 2001 (No. F177).

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—“Registry Services Agreement” means the agreement between the Ministry of Fisheries, the New Zealand Seafood Industry Council Limited and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited for the delivery of registry-based services.

  2. Performance of functions, duties and powers of the Chief Executive—As from the date that this notice comes into effect, the performance of certain functions, duties and powers of the Chief Executive relating to the delivery of Registry Services will be performed by Commercial Fisheries Services Limited, pursuant to the Registry Services Agreement dated 30 March 2001.

  3. Revocation—The Ministry and Datacom Employer Services Limited Registry Services Notice 1999 (No. F123) appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on 29 July 1999, No. 87 at page 2076 is hereby revoked.
