Water Recreation Regulations 1979
The Water Recreation (Lake Camp) Amendment Notice 2001
I, John Norman Keith Mansell, Divisional Manager, Maritime Operations, pursuant to Regulation 18 of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 257A of the Harbours Act 1950 and section 443 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, hereby give the following notice.
Notice

(a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Lake Camp) Amendment Notice 2001.
(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

The Water Recreation (Lake Camp) Notice 1981 is amended by revoking clause 2 and substituting the following new clause 2:
“2. Subject to the conditions specified in the Second Schedule, Regulations 7 (1) (a), 7 (1) (b), 7 (2), 8 (1) (a), 8 (1) (b) and 8 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 shall not apply to the waters of Lake Camp during the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. excepting the 2 areas described in the First Schedule.”

Transit New Zealand Act 1989
Revoking Section of State Highway–Declaring New Section of State Highway—State Highway No. 1, Hurunui District
Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State Highway No. 1 described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked and the section of road described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be State Highway No. 1 within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.
First Schedule
The section of State Highway No. 1 that is in Hurunui District, commencing at a point (Route Position 195/7.67) 120 metres north of the Siberia Ford and proceeding in a generally south-westerly direction to a point (Route Position 195/16.10) 1.4 kilometres north of the Leader River Bridge; a distance of 8.56 kilometres.
Second Schedule
The section of newly constructed road, known as the Siberia-Ferniehurst and Hawkswood Deviations, that is in Hurunui District, commencing at a point (Route Position 195/7.65) 120 metres north of the new Siberia Stream Culvert and proceeding in a generally south-westerly direction to a point (Route Position 195/16.10) 1.4 kilometres north of the Leader River Bridge; a distance of 6.40 kilometres.

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2001/16: Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on State Highways: Transit New Zealand Regions 11 and 12
Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the bylaw as follows.
Amendment

This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

In the Third Schedule after clause 11 (c) insert:
The section of State Highway No. 6 in Westland District from a point (Route Position 463/5.25) 950 metres measured generally in a north-easterly direction from the intersection of Richards Drive to a point (Route Position 463/6.35) approximately 150 metres measured generally in a southerly direction from the intersection with Richards Drive; a distance of 1.10 kilometres.
After clause 12 insert:
The section of State Highway No. 7 in Grey District from a point (Route Position 255/15.13) 480 metres measured generally in a north-westerly direction from Omoto Valley Road to a point (Route Position 255/17.56) measured approximately 340 metres in an easterly direction from the intersection with State Highway No. 6; a distance of 2.43 kilometres.
This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.
