Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the New Zealand Timberlands Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2001.

(2) This notice will come into force on 1 October 2001.
2. Abolition of New Zealand Timberlands Rural Fire District—The New Zealand Timberlands Rural Fire District is hereby abolished.
3. Revocation of Rural Fire District Notice—The New Zealand Timberlands Rural Fire District Notice 1992 is hereby revoked.

Amendment No. 1
Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the South Canterbury Rural Fire District Notice 1998 Amendment No. 1.
    (2) This notice will come into force on 1 October 2001.
  2. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice—The principal notice is hereby amended by appending to the schedule:
    “All those parcels containing 5402.6629 hectares, more or less being: Res 3543 as shown on S.O. 1491; Lot 1, D.P. 58553; Lot 2, D.P. 58554; Lots 3, 4 and 5, D.P. 58555; more commonly known as Geraldine Forest.
    All those parcels containing 4588.9109 hectares, more or less, being: Lots 1, 2 and 4, D.P. 43809; Lots 5, 6 and 7, D.P. 43954; Lot 1, D.P. 60168; Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, D.P. 60169, and Lots 11, 12, 13 and 14, D.P. 60170; more commonly known as Waimate Forest.”

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become Reserve and Naming of the Reserve
Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Northland Conservator of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and, pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, further declares that the conservation area be set apart as a reserve, under the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of

the said Act, and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Uretiti Recreation Reserve.

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei District
3.7240 hectares, more or less, being Section 50, Block XIV, Ruakaka Survey District.
69 hectares (planimetered), more or less, being part Allotment 92, Parish of Ruakaka. Situated in Block XIV, Ruakaka Survey District.
