Notice of Granting of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000, I, John Gibson Bradbury, Deputy Secretary Air Services in the Ministry of Transport, hereby give notice that I have exercised the power conferred by section 87N of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, to grant a scheduled international air service licence to Air China International to authorise the airline to operate up to two B747 services per week from points in China, via Sydney, to Auckland.
This licence took effect on 30 May 2000.

Pursuant to section 48 (4) of the Building Act 1991, notice is hereby given that the Building Industry Authority intends to make a recommendation for the amendment of the Building Regulations 1992.
That recommendation relates to the making of amendments to clause F4 of the First Schedule to the Building Regulations 1992 (βthe building codeβ).

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to Regulation 29 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, John Ashley Gregg, vehicle compliance officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Conditions
(i) All seat belts must be in sound condition and good working order and must not be modified in any way;
(ii) Static three point lap and diagonal seat belts that comply with the appropriate vehicle standard are fitted in the rear outboard sitting positions.
(iii) All other sitting positions are fitted with seat belts required by Regulation 29.
(iv) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
(v) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.
