Radio Spectrum Auction 3

The Ministry of Economic Development wishes to advise that Radio Spectrum Auction 3, having been deferred from the previous starting date of 15 November 1999, will now commence at 9.00 a.m. on Monday, 10 July 2000.

Registrations for the auction will open on Tuesday, 13 June 2000, and will close at 4.00 p.m. on Thursday, 29 June 2000.

No guarantee of registration for the auction can be given for any registrations received after the closing date.

Radio spectrum management right lots and licence lots suitable for a number of different technologies including second and third generation cellular services (known as PCS), as well as fixed linking services, are included in the auction.

The multiple round auction will be held electronically, via the Internet.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Anne’s School, Manurewa.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 2nd day of June 2000.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 39-45 College Hill, Ponsonby, Auckland.

Medical Practitioners Who May Prescribe, Administer or Supply Controlled Drugs for the Purpose of Treating People with Drug Dependence

Pursuant to section 24 (5) (a) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I, Janice Marjorie Wilson, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Health, specify:

David Anderson Richards of Wainoni Medical Centre, 100 Wainoni Road, Wainoni, Christchurch as a medical practitioner who may prescribe, administer or supply controlled drugs for the purposes of that section.

Notice of Determination of Tax Depreciation Rates

1. This is a notice made under section EG 14 of the Income Tax Act 1994 of a depreciation determination issued by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue under section EG 4 of that Act.

2. "Determination DEP45: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 45" relating to boat lift storage systems was signed on 1 June 2000, and will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 12, No. 6, of June 2000.

3. A copy of the determination may be obtained by writing to the Assistant General Manager (Adjudication & Rulings), National Office, Inland Revenue, P.O. Box 2198, Wellington.

Notice of Rating Valuations Rules

Pursuant to section 5 of the Rating Valuations Act 1998, public notice is given that the Rating Valuations Rules, Version 2.0 have been made and will come into force from 7 July 2000.

Copies of the Rules may be inspected and obtained at any office of Land Information New Zealand and may also be obtained by telephoning the office of the Valuer-General on (04) 460 0152.
