The Traffic (Ashburton District) Notice No. 3, 2000

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, gave the following notice:

Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ashburton District) Notice No. 3, 2000.

(2) The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 (1) (e) of the Transport Act 1962.

Situated within Ashburton District at Hakatere Huts:

River Road: from the southern end of River Road at Hakatere Huts to a point 120 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Hakatere Drive.

Pursuant to regulation 6 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Jörg Simon Mager, Senior Engineer Vehicle Policy, hereby prescribe the standard specified in the Schedule of this notice as an alternative standard for the purposes of regulation 25 (2) and item 14 of the Second Schedule of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990.
