Notice

(1) This Notice may be cited as the Traffic (Buller District) Notice 2000.

(2) The area specified in the First Schedule is declared to be closely populated locality at all times for the purposes of section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.

(3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

(4) The following notice is revoked:

The Traffic (Inangahua County) Notice No. 1, 1969.*

First Schedule

Situated within Buller District at Reefton:

All roads within an area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern side of the No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth) 75 metres measured easterly generally along the said State highway from Donovan Street; thence across the No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth) at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence due north to a point due east of the northern end of Crampton Road; thence due west to the northern end of Crampton Road; thence south-westerly generally by a right line to a point on the north-eastern side of the No. 69 State Highway (Inangahua-Reefton) 160 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from Crampton Road, thence across the No. 69 State Highway (Inangahua-Reefton) at right angles to its south-eastern side to its south-western side; thence north-westerly generally along that roadside to the crossing of the Stillwater-Westport Railway; thence south-westerly generally along that railway to the true left bank of the Inangahua River; thence easterly generally along that river bank to a point due south of the commencing point; thence due north to the commencing point.

Second Schedule

Situated within Buller District at Reefton:

No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth) from the true left bank of the Inangahua River to a point 60 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State Highway from Soldiers-Big River Road.

No. 69 State Highway (Inangahua-Reefton); from a point 160 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from Crampton Road to a point 120 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said State Highway from Andersons Road.

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District) Notice No. 2, 2000.

(2) The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purpose of section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.

(3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

(4) The following notice is revoked:

First Schedule

Situated within Westland District at Fox Glacier:

No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 460 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Cook Flat Road to a point 260 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Cook Flat Road.

Sullivan Road.

Second Schedule

Situated within Westland District at Fox Glacier:

Cook Flat Road from the No 6 State highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to a point 880 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from the said State highway.

Pekanga Drive.

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District) Notice 2000.

(2) The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purpose of section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.

Schedule

Situated within Westland District at Franz Joseph:

No 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 850 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the northern abutment of the Waiho River Bridge to a point 420 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from the southern abutment of the Waiho River Bridge.

Cron Street.
Graham Place.
