Reserves Act 1987

Classification of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1987, the City Manager of the Christchurch City Council notifies that on the 1st day of December 1999, the Christchurch City Council, acting pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, resolved to classify the reserve, described in the Schedule, as a local purpose (community buildings) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Conservation

Conservation Act 1987

Declaration That Marginal Strip Not Required

Pursuant to section 24B (4) (b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements set out in section 24 of the Act shall not apply in the case of the disposition of the land required in connection with electricity works as part of the intake and discharge structures of the Ohaaki Power Station, specified in the Schedule.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
