  1. T6 “Slippery Surface” supplementary sign
    The following sign may be erected below a T6 “Slippery Road” (TW-4) diamond-shaped sign:
    ICE / GRIT (TW-4.1) 950 x 300.

  2. Animal movement
    The legend of the following diamond-shaped signs include a symbol in the appropriate form:
    “Stock” (Cattle) (TW-6).
    “Stock” (Sheep) (TW-6.1).

  3. Alternate T13 “Works End” sign
    The following sign may be used as supplementary to the T13 “WORKS END” (TW-16) sign:
    THANK YOU (TW-17) 950 x 300.

  4. Alternate T11 “Lime Splashes” sign
    The following signs may be used, as appropriate, for the T11 “Lime Splashes” sign. The lettering of LIME or CEMENT and SPLASHES shall be at least 150mm high, of WASH CAR TODAY at least 100mm high:
    CEMENT SPLASHES WASH CAR TODAY (TW-24).
    LIME SPLASHES WASH CAR TODAY (TW-24).
    Both signs 1150 x 800.

  5. Detour signs
    (a) DETOUR AHEAD FOLLOW SYMBOL (TW-21):
    This sign may be used in advance of a detour. The symbol at the bottom may be a white square (at least 100 x 100mm) or such other easily recognisable symbol of similar size to be used on each “Detour Indicator” sign erected along the detour route. Background reflectorised fluorescent orange. Size 1400 x 1200.
    (b) “Detour Indicator” (TW-22); used to indicate the route of detour; reflectorised fluorescent orange, 1200 x 400.
    (c) DETOUR ENDS (TW-23); fluorescent orange, 1200 x 600.

11 “Road Closed Ahead” sign
ROAD CLOSED AHEAD (TW-20) 1000 x 750.

12 Pedestrian warning signs
(a) Pedestrian directions:
CROSSING CLOSED PLEASE USE ALTERNATIVE CROSSING (TW-30)
NO PEDESTRIANS PLEASE USE OTHER SIDE (TW-31)
are examples of the type of sign which, with the appropriate text, may be erected to direct pedestrians. The lettering shall be at least 75mm high. 950 x 500.
(b) Pedestrian route indicators (TW-32) shall be in the form of a pedestrian symbol with an arrow indicating route pedestrians should follow 950 x 500.

13 “Site Access” signs
These signs provide guidance for drivers entering the work site:
(a) SITE ACCESS x00m (TW-28) 1200 x 1200.
(b) SITE ACCESS (arrow) (TW-29) 1200 x 1200.

14 Direction and protection signs
These signs depict areas of road unavailable to traffic (depicted in fluorescent orange) and arrows (depicted in black on a white reflectorised background) showing the paths of available lanes:

(a) Lane Closed signs:
2-lane, 1-way road (TW7) 750 x 750.
3-lane, 1-way road (TW-7.1) 750 x 750.
4-lane, 1-way road (TW-7.2) 1500 x 1200.
(b) Lane Shift:
2-lane, 1-way road (TW8) 750 x 750.
3-lane, 1-way road (TW8.1) 1500 x 1200.
(c) Merging Traffic:
Main road (TW-9) 1200 x 1200.
Side road (TW-10) 1200 x 1200.
(d) Advance Exit:
(TW-11) 1200 x 1200.

15 “Temporary Exit” signs
This sign provides guidance for drivers leaving the road at a temporary exit point:
EXIT (arrow) (TW-24) 1200 x 1200. The arrow symbol marks the appropriate direction.

Vehicle mounted signs
(a) PILOT CAR FOLLOW ME (TW-25) 950 x 500 may be mounted on a vehicle providing direction and control of vehicles through a section of road.
(b) ROAD WORKS (TW-26) 1200 x 600 letters modified Series E, background reflectorised fluorescent orange.
(c) ROAD INSPECTION VEHICLE (TW-27) 1000 x 750.

Declaration of Vehicle With Motorcycle Controls to be a Motorcycle
