The Funeral Service Training Trust of New Zealand

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 19 October 1998, The Funeral Service Training Trust of New Zealand, was granted full recognition as an industry training organisation for the funeral industry, with effect from 18 October 1998.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1–8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

This recognition is granted with the provision that the ITO must consult and gain agreement with representatives of Maori in terms of training for the forest industries.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.
