The Gas and Petrochemical Industry Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 20 September 1999, the Gas and Petrochemical Industry Training Organisation Incorporated was granted full recognition as an industry training organisation for the gas distribution, reticulation, sales, repair and maintenance and petrochemical industries.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas:
Gas engineering, pipeline mechanical inspection, gas metering, governor fitting, gas measuring, appliance servicing, mains and service laying, leakage surveying, specialist meter reading, plant/process operations in the exploration/production, hydrocarbon refining and petrochemical processing sectors of the petrochemical industry and petrochemical industry specific skills; geoscientists, engineers (chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical and process), mechanical instrumentation and electrical trades persons, metering and telemetry technicians and cathodic technicians at Levels 1–8, with effect from 20 September 1999.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.
The establishment of a foundation course for Maori, or other objective(s) as deemed appropriate to address the low participation rate of Maori in the mainstream media.

New Zealand Ambulance Education Council Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency notes that the provisional recognition of the New Zealand Ambulance Board Incorporated as the industry training organisation for the ambulance service industry, granted pursuant to section 9 of the Industry Training Act, will expire on 17 December 1998.
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 7 December 1998, the New Zealand Ambulance Education Council Incorporated was granted full recognition as an industry training organisation for the ambulance service industry, with effect from 17 December 1998.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above area at Levels 1–8.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 19 October 1998, the New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated was granted full recognition as an industry training organisation for the news and feature reporting industry (including print, radio and television), with effect from 19 October 1998.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1–8.
The recognition is granted with the recommendation that the New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated include in its next 3 year plan a target date for the establishment of a foundation course for Maori, or other objective(s) as deemed appropriate to address the low participation rate of Maori in the mainstream media.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 19 October 1998, the New Zealand Motor Industry Training Organisation Incorporated was granted full recognition as an industry training organisation for the motor and technical outdoor fabric products industries with effect from 19 October 1998.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1–8.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

Agriculture Industry Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 7 December 1998, the Agriculture Industry Training Organisation Incorporated was granted full recognition as an industry training organisation for the farming industry, including the pastoral (except equine), apiculture, arable, deer, goat, pork, poultry, fencing, wool handling, wool classing, shearing and stock and station sectors, with effect from 22 December 1998.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1–8.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

New Zealand Painting Contractors Association of Employers Industry Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 17 August 1998, the New Zealand Painting Contractors Association of Employers Industry Training Organisation Incorporated was granted full recognition as an industry training organisation for the painting and paperhanging (defined as painting and decorating), sign writing and bricklaying, masonry and stonemasonry industries with effect from 20 September 1998.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1–8.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.
