the Minister of Conservation, hereby declares the land in the Third Schedule hereto, excluding the beds of the Waitutu and Wairaurahiri Rivers already declared to be held for conservation purposes in terms of 2. above, to be held for conservation purposes and it shall be so held.
Southland Land District—Southland District
First Schedule
222.8000 hectares, more or less, being all that area of road; shown as “A” on S.O. Plan 12308.
1.7000 hectares, more or less, being all that area of road; shown as “B” on S.O. Plan 12308.
92.7000 hectares, more or less, being all that area of road; shown as “C” on S.O. Plan 12308.
3.6000 hectares, more or less, being all that area of road; shown as “D” on S.O. Plan 12308.
Second Schedule
That part of the bed of the Waitutu River from the boundary of the Fiordland National Park, being 40 metres downstream from the outlet of Lake Potireti in the north, to the line of Mean High Water Springs at the mouth of the said river in the south, and more particularly as shown within the area marked as “A” on S.O. Plan 11763 and being situated within the Waitutu Survey District.
That part of the bed of the Wairaurahiri River from the boundary of the Fiordland National Park (S.R. 1978/333) in the north, to a line across the bed of the said river, such line be a prolongation of the line of the northern boundary of Section 8, Block XII, Rowallan Survey District in the south and more particularly shown within the area marked “A” on S.O. Plan 11763 and being situated in the Rowallan and Waitutu Survey Districts.
The bed of Lake Innes more particularly shown as Parcel “B” on S.O. Plan 11763 and containing 70.4000 hectares and being situated in the Hakapoua Survey District.
Third Schedule
46507.2000 hectares, more or less, being all that parcel of land; shown as “A” on S.O. Plan 11763.
1203.2000 hectares, more or less, being all that parcel of land; shown as “C” on S.O. Plan 11763.

Reserves Act 1977
Classification of Reserves
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator, Canterbury, hereby classifies the reserve described in Schedule A hereto, as a local purpose (community buildings) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further classifies the reserve described in Schedule B hereto, as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Cancellation of Vesting and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby cancels the vesting in the Southland District Council of the land described in Schedule One hereto, and further revokes the reservation as a local purpose reserve over the land described in Schedules One and Two.
