Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of State that has control of the land, hereby jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and shall hereafter be so held.

2251 square metres, more or less, being closed road adjoining Whakanekeke D1D Block, shown coloured yellow on M.L. 13735, situated in Block I, Omapiere Survey District.

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road and Declaring the Areas Transferred and Other Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

1. Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control, hereby declares that the land in the First Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Southland District Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and shall cease to be road and shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

2. Further, pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control, being the Minister responsible for the department of State that has control of the land, jointly declare the land in the First Schedule hereto, having been deemed to be Crown land in terms of 1. above, and the land in the Second Schedule hereto, to be held for conservation purposes and the areas shall be so held.
