Securities Amendment Act 1988

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3), Amendment No. 2 and is part of the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) (‘‘the principal notice’’).

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Schedule amended—The Schedule to the principal notice is amended by inserting, in their appropriate alphabetical order, the names ‘‘Genesis Power Limited’’ and ‘‘TrustPower Limited’’.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 12: Dargaville to Ruawai

It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 5 May 1999, and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 12 in Kaipara District commencing at the south abutment of the Northern Wairoa Bridge, Dargaville (Route Position) 153/0.89) and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to the intersection with Freyburg Street, Ruawai (Route Position 169/11.98); a distance of 27.02 kilometres, as more particularly shown on Plan LA/11/51/1, LA/11/51/2 and LA/11/51/3 and accompanying schedules held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Auckland and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on State Highways in Transit New Zealand Regions 7 and 8

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby makes the following bylaw:

Bylaw

  1. Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the Transit New Zealand (Speed of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 1999/15, and shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Interpretation—In this bylaw—

‘‘Vehicle’’ has the same meaning as in the Transport Act 1962.

  1. Limiting of speed of vehicles on State highways—No person shall drive or take, or permit to be driven, or taken any vehicle at a speed exceeding 80 kilometres per hour on the sections of State highway described in the Schedule to this bylaw.

Schedule

  1. That section of State Highway No. 3 that is at Bell Block from a point (Route Position 229/5.21) 10 metres west of Jersey Place to a point (Route Position 229/7.31) 200 metres east of Vickers Road, a distance of 2.10 kilometres.

  2. That section of State Highway No. 4 that is at National Park from a point (Route Position 94/19.075) 140 metres north of Carroll Street to a point (Route Position 114/0.20) 200 metres south of the intersection with State Highway 47; a distance of 897 metres.

This bylaw is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.
