Reserves Act 1977

Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Ahaura–Kopara Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further declares that, the said reserve shall form part of the Ahaura–Kopara Scenic Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae, to be known as Maruata 2B2A for the common use and benefit of all the people of Aotearoa.

Land Acquired for Scientific Reserve—Kotuku Drive, Kapiti Coast

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for scientific reserve and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, together with the covenant described in the Second Schedule, subject to the easement created in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 May 1999, No. 60 at page 1435.
