Road Realignment in the District of Rangitikei

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Rangitikei District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 and 120 (3), declares:

(i) the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 40D/463, subject to memorandum of mortgage B. 334036.7 and water and pipeline rights contained in transfer 436006 and subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and sections 10 and 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

(ii) the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 38C/6, subject to rights of way contained in transfer 850679.5 and memorandum of mortgage 971108.5 and subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and sections 10 and 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

(iii) the land described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 22A/267, subject to memorandum of mortgage B. 334036.7 and subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948.

(i) the land described in the Fifth Schedule to this notice to be severance and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 40D/463, subject to memorandum of mortgage B. 334036.7 and water and pipeline rights contained in transfer 436006.

Land to be Acquired for Granting as Compensation and Water Power Development—Waikaremoana Power Station

Pursuant to sections 50 and 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for a water power development and is vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof.
