Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 27th day of May 1999 at the District Court at Hamilton, Te Mingi Elliott of 54 Paul Crescent, Hamilton, was convicted and sentenced to 4 months periodic detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 12 months from 27 May 1999, following his conviction on 27 May 1999, for an offence of driving while disqualified (third or subsequent offence), and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge R. L. B. Spear, has ordered that a Morris 1300 motor vehicle, registration No. UL 6881 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Te Mingi Elliott be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Hamilton, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Hamilton, by 5.00 p.m. on the 27th day of May 1999.

On the 17th day of May 1999 at the District Court at Hamilton, Daniel Phillip Greenwood of 1 Inverness Avenue, Hamilton, was convicted and sentenced to 50 hours community service and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 6 months from 17 May 1999 at 5.00 p.m., following his conviction on 17 May 1999, for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol, and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Community Magistrates G. O. Moltzen and T. M. Moana, have ordered that a Mitsubishi Sigma motor vehicle, registration No. IR 2263 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Daniel Phillip Greenwood, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Hamilton, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Hamilton, by 5.00 p.m. on the 17th day of May 1999.

McGuire, has ordered that a Holden Commodore motor vehicle, registration No. TY 9299 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 5.00 p.m. on the 14th day of May 1999.
