Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 28th day of April 1999 at the District Court at Hamilton, Rachel Shaw of 22A Higgins Road, Hamilton, was convicted and sentenced to 9 months imprisonment suspended for 12 months, 5 months periodic detention and 6 months supervision with conditions and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 12 months from 28 April 1999, following her conviction on 28 April 1999, for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol (third or subsequent offence), and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge R. P. Wolff has ordered that a

Ford Laser motor vehicle, registration No. MG 4631

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Rachel Shaw, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Hamilton, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Hamilton, by 5.00 p.m. on the 28th day of April 1999.

Resource Management Act 1991

The Resource Management (Approval of VECTOR Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1999

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of VECTOR Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1999.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, “line function services” has the meaning given to that term by section 2 of the Electricity Act 1992.

  2. Approval as requiring authority—VECTOR Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for its network utility operation of the supply of line function services.
