Declaring Maori Freehold Land to be Included in a Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation in respect of the land known as part Taraketi 2A2 which was set apart for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of Ngāuri O Hauti me Ngā Whānau O Te Rohe by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 119, page 2294, of the 5th day of August 1993.

Declaring Land Formerly Held as a School Site for Berwick Primary School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen, Subject to the Provisions of the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 5 (6) (a) of the Education Lands Act 1949, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaims and declares that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being land held for a public school site in Berwick shall, as and from the 1st day of March 1999, be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, subject to the provisions of the Land Act 1948, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens or easements affecting the same at that date.

All that piece of land containing 4022 square metres, being Section 23, Block I, Town of Berwick, being all of the land in New Zealand Gazette, 3 July 1867, No. 489, page 183.
