The information required to be published by Telecom under the Telecommunications (Disclosure) Regulations 1990 for the quarter ended 31 March 1999 is available from 30 April 1999, on request by any person, at the principal offices of Telecom in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Revoking Section of State Highway and Declaring New Section of State Highway—State Highways No. 50 and No. 50A

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State highway described in the First Schedule hereto, is revoked and the sections of road described in the Second Schedule hereto, are declared to be State highway within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.

First Schedule

That section of State Highway No. 50 that is between Napier and Hastings cities commencing at a point (Route Position 3/8.75) 300 metres north of the intersection of Allen Road and Pakowhai Road and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to the intersection of Allen Road and Pakowhai Road, and then on Links Road in a westerly direction to a point 200 metres west of the intersection of Allen Road and Pakowhai Road (Route Position 3/9.25); a distance of 500 metres.

Second Schedule

1. Between Napier and Hastings cities, State Highway No. 50 to include the newly constructed section of road commencing at a point (Route Position 3/8.75) 300 metres north of the intersection of Allen Road and Pakowhai Road and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to a point 200 metres west of the intersection of Allen Road and Pakowhai Road (Route Position 3/9.25); a distance of 300 metres.

2. Between Napier and Hastings cities, State Highway No. 50A to consist of the newly constructed section of road commencing at its intersection with State Highway No. 50 (new Reference Station 0/0.00) and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to its intersection with Omahu Road (new Route Position 0/7.4); a distance of 7.4 kilometres.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987

Pursuant to section 24B (4) (b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, which deals with the reservation of marginal strips, shall not apply to the disposition of the land in the Schedule hereto.

The land is required in connection with electricity works.

74.9030 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 14517, being all of the land contained in certificate of title 11C/518.
