Pegging day
1 A person, following purchase of a 1999 game bird hunting licence can reclaim the stand claimed during the 1998 Game Season at any time prior to 10.00am on
11 April 1999 in all Fish & Game regions, except Auckland/Waikato
18 April 1999 in the Auckland/Waikato Fish & Game region only
Otherwise unclaimed stands can only be claimed any time after 10.00am on
11 April in all Fish & Game regions, except Auckland/Waikato
18 April in the Auckland/Waikato Fish & Game region only
Stands are claimed by completing and attaching to the stand or a stake or board at the stand site, the claim tag provided with the licence
2 No one can claim more than one stand.
3 A stand cannot be claimed closer than 90 metres to a stand already claimed by another person without that person’s consent
4 Any stand not occupied by the claimant within one hour after the opening hour of hunting, on any day, can be occupied by another licence holder.
Conditions
1 These approvals shall not derogate from the principal conditions specified for each Fish and Game Region under the Second Schedule, which shall apply
2 These approvals will expire at the end of the open season for game specified under the Second Schedule for each Fish and Game Region
